Brendan is a Certified Athletic Therapist, Registered Massage Therapist, Strength/Performance Coach and CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach.

 

He brings with him the experience of working for:

  • Toronto Maple Leaf's (NHL) & Toronto Marlies (AHL)

  • Toronto Raptors (NBA)

  • Toronto Argonauts & Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL)

  • Matt Nichol with the BioSteel athletes (NHL, AHL, OHL, NCAA, KHL, Olympic and National Level etc.)

  • Guelph Storm (OHL - 2019 OHL Champions) & Oshawa Generals (OHL)

  • And various sports medicine doctors involved with Toronto’s professional teams out of Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto Maple Leaf's, Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto FC).

With the Guelph Storm, Brendan was the team’s Head Athletic Therapist.  In this role, he oversaw all things pertaining to player’s health including but not limited to: injuries, illness, concussions, pre-operative rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, strength & conditioning etc. while helping them have an injury free playoff run which helped backstop an OHL Championship for the team.

 

Brendan continues to study various techniques and methodologies to bring the best to his clients and patients.  He incorporates things like: acupuncture, cupping and specific exercise prescription into his treatments to get you feeling your best as quickly as possible!

Kasha Kostrzewa

Kasha is a Certified Athletic Therapist & avid Yoga enthusiast as well as volleyball player that brings with her the experience of working with Rugby Ontario and Rugby Canada!  She lives an active lifestyle and brings her passion for helping others into everything she does. Kasha is always learning and expanding her already great skillset to help serve you better!

Teams/Organizations Kasha has been involved with include:

  • Rugby Canada

  • Rugby Ontario

  • Oshawa Vikings Rugby  

  • UOIT/Durham College Varsity Athletics (Lacrosse, Volleyball)

  • Saint Andrew's College Athletics

Kasha takes a holistic whole body approach and has a passion for educating each client so they can take an active role in their rehab or performance enhancing process. The goal is always to find the root cause of the issue in order to help fix things for the long term.

Kasha has worked with all types of people and athletes from the time of injury to after their operations helping them get back to feeling their best as quickly and safely as possible.

Jeffrey Hodgson

Jeff is a Certified Athletic Therapist & Registered Massage Therapist that brings with him a wealth of experience.  He has been an avid athlete his entire life but has also worked with professional athletes at the highest levels! 

Jeff has worked with teams and athletes such as:

  • The Toronto Raptors (NBA)

  • Canadian Basketball League (CBL)

  • Olympic Wrestlers and Gymnasts 

  • Women's Tennis Association (WTA)

  • The University of Waterloo (Warriors) and Guelph (Gryphons) Athletics (OUA)

  • Markham Majors U16 AAA (GTHL)

Jeff uses an active rehabilitation and preventive approach where he creates individualized treatment programs no matter the age or activity level. He enjoys incorporating various modality techniques into his treatments such as: graston, cupping and acupuncture with the combination of exercise prescription.  
 

Jeff takes a full body approach to determine the source of the pain and correct the biomechanical and postural dysfunction. He puts a great emphasis on educating his clients and provides proper home exercise programs to prevent the pain or injury from reoccurring. Jeff brings a positive attitude, comfortable environment and an active mindset to his treatment style allowing his clients to return to a healthy and pain free active lifestyle. 
 

While not treating, Jeffrey enjoys playing recreational hockey, regularly going to the gym, and learning new creative exercises and treatment techniques for his clients.

Bryan Knipe

Bryan is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach, Sports Nutritionist, Personal Trainer. He brings with him the experience of having worked for:

 

  • Strength & Conditioning coach in-season and off-season for (NHL, AHL, OHL, NCAA, Junior and Amateur hockey players) 

  • Toronto Titans (GTHL Trainer/A.Coach)

  • One Body Strength Club (Head Strength Coach)

 

While at Onebody Strength Club as their head Strength Coach, Bryan helped numerous minor hockey athletes reach their goals of taking their game to the next level into the OHL, NCAA & NHL. Bryan has worked extensively with high level hockey players over the years.  One of his most notable clients was recently drafted in the first round of the NHL draft in 2021.

 

Bryan focuses on the body's fundamental movements before progressively making each athlete stronger through proper strength movements while also making sure his athletes have optimal mobility all year round. Bryan also offers to his athletes a customized meal plan so their body is properly fueled for on ice performance in-season and ready for the weight room off-season.

 

Bryan is continuously advancing his knowledge so he can bring the best possible package to his athletes every time they come into the gym – helping them be their best on the ice!

Chris Bunce

Chris is a Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as a certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach.


He brings with him the experience of having worked with elite level athletes including:
 

  • NHL, AHL, OHL, University, Junior and Amateur hockey players

  • Personal Training for various sports and athletes

  • Weekend warriors and those looking to get in better shape 

  • Injury Rehabilitation


Chris has a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology which he obtained from Ontario Tech University. While completing his studies, he worked closely with the school's strength and conditioning coaches to help facilitate and oversee varsity training programs for athletes.  It was here where his passion to work with athletes was found. Being a former competitive athlete himself, he is able to share his experience and educate his athletes about the importance of proper nutrition as well as implement effective training programs for their sport.


When designing programs for his athletes, Chris focuses on the importance of overall movement patterns, mobility, stability, and exercise technique before working towards their strength improvements. He also focuses on ways to improve their instabilities in order to reduce the risk of injury based on the demands of their sport.


Chris continues to improve his knowledge and education in order to provide effective training programs and modalities for his athletes so they can perform at their best and reduce their risk of injury throughout the season.

Kristi Abe

Kristi brings with her a wealth of experience both personally and professionally. Kristi has been an avid athlete her entire life, continues to weight lift and most notably, compete in triathlons! She understands what it’s like to be an athlete because she’s always been one herself! Kristi’s athletic background is what lead her to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist.


She obtained an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph before studying Massage Therapy at the prestigious Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy.


Since completing her studies, Kristi has worked with many high-profile athletes including:

  • The Toronto Marlies (AHL)

  • Various Invictus Games Athletes

  • Competitive Olympic Weight Lifters and Powerlifters

  • Body Builders

Kristi also works with:
